Lifting & Positioning the Vehicle
Never exceed the rated capacity of your QuickLift model. Trying to lift a heavier vehicle is a serious safety hazard and not an intended use of the product.
When selecting a model, an even more important factor is to determine the model based on the distance between the vehicle’s lifting points. Only raise the vehicle using the factory-recommended lifting points. Improper positioning can lead to instability and the vehicle potentially falling off the Portable Car Lift.
Therefore, please be sure to accurately measure the vehicle’s data to avoid the occurrence of the above situation.
During the lifting and lowering operation of the lift, there will be no oil leakage at any of the interfaces. One important point to mention here is that the quick connect on the portable car lift is a non-flat-face quick coupling.
Due to its structural design, a non-flat-face quick coupling may exhibit a small amount of fluid leakage during connection and disconnection, which is a normal phenomenon.
Specifically, this type of coupling uses an internal valve (check valve) to achieve automatic sealing upon disconnection. During separation, the valve transitions from open to closed within a very short time, and a small amount of residual fluid inside the coupling may be carried out before the valve is fully sealed, resulting in a brief and minor leakage.
In addition, unlike flat-face couplings, this design cannot achieve a completely “no-spill” condition due to its sealing surface and flow path characteristics. Therefore, a slight trace of fluid during frequent connection and disconnection is unavoidable.
This is a normal operational characteristic and does not affect the sealing performance or the safe use of the coupling.
