Safety Instructions — Portable Car Lift

Read all instructions before use. Only trained and authorized personnel may operate this lift.

Before Use

● Never exceed the rated capacity shown on the nameplate.
● Inspect hydraulic cylinders, hoses, and fittings for leaks or damage.
● Check that the mechanical safety locks engage and release correctly.
● Confirm the lifting pads are intact and correctly positioned.
● Tag any defective lift “OUT OF SERVICE” until repaired by a qualified technician.
● Place the lift on a flat, solid, level surface. Never use it on sloped, soft, or uneven ground.
● Empty the vehicle. No driver or passenger may remain inside during lifting.
● Engage the parking brake and chock the wheels.
● Lift only at the manufacturer-designated lift points — never at the suspension, axles, fuel tank, or body panels.
● Raise slowly. Stop at 10-15 cm to verify pad contact and vehicle stability before continuing.
● Always engage the mechanical safety locks at working height. Hydraulic pressure alone is not a load-holding device.
● Never rock, push, or apply lateral force to a raised vehicle.
● Keep all persons clear before lowering. Lower slowly and evenly.
● Check the oil level monthly and use only the specified hydraulic oil grade.
● Lubricate pivot points and tighten all bolts monthly.
● Arrange a full inspection by a qualified technician every six months.
● Use genuine replacement parts only. Never modify, weld, or drill the lift structure.
● Do not work under a vehicle supported by hydraulic pressure alone.
● If the lift descends under load or fails to hold position, stop use immediately.
● In case of sudden descent, move clear at once — never attempt to catch the load.
● Store indoors, dry, and out of reach of unauthorized persons.
